In 2007, the OHanlon Family announced the formation of an endowment to fund

The OHanlon Family First Responders/ Scholarship

In memory of Cecelia N Ohanlon at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY. The goal was to support the future students and communities of first responders.

For over 120 years total, the O'Hanlon Family has given in service to their communities. Almost all has been in first responder/ front line healthcare/ public service. Many more years have been dedicated in volunteerism.

The O'Hanlon family has had a legacy is deep, father – firemen (50+yrs), mother – paramedic, nurse (25+ yrs.) Brother- police officer/ USMC (20yrs); Sister- nurse, caregiver (30+yrs), uncle-USAF

The O’Hanlon Family First Responders Scholarship for EMTs at Austin Community College is created in memory of Cecelia N. O’Hanlon and in honor of an entire family who has given of service to the public.

The O’Hanlon family is proud to extend their support by giving back to the next generation of students who will save lives, homes, communities, and more.
